Former Rangers forward Andy Little made his pre-season debut for Preston North End & instantly paid off dividends by scoring the winning goal in the Lilywhites 3-2 victory over Chorley.  Little headed home a cross from Will Hayhurst in the 65th minute putting.  The goal capped off a comeback victory that saw Preston score three unanswered goals.

Little came on at half-time & nearly scored his initial goal five minutes prior to his strike when he forced the Chorley goalkeeper to save a low-driving shot from the right side.

Prior to the match, Little spoke to the club’s official website about his transition to the English League One team.  Little summed up his time with the club so far, “I’m loving it, its been really good, obviously its been tough as you would expect but the players, the staff and the facilities and everything have been top notch and I’m really really enjoying it.”
