Arnold Peralta finally arrived to train with his Rangers teammates on Thursday, after missing the entire preseason while straightening out visa issues. It is his first time practicing with the team since the end of last season.
Diario Deportivo reports that Peralta spent most of the practice working on his fitness & did not take part in drills with the rest of the first team squad. The club had given him permission to extend his off-season in order to regain full fitness but mainly in order to resolve the immigration issues involving his work permit, as well as dealing his wife’s visa.
With his return to Auchenhowie, it is safe to assume that his visa issue has been resolved. No word on whether his wife is back in Paris or has joined Peralta in Scotland.
It would be difficult to speculate on a timetable for his full inclusion into the squad given that he has not done structured football training since missing out on Honduras’ trip to the World Cup.
