Robbie Crawford given a chance by Morton

Football is often a cruel game of numbers & 21-year old Robbie Crawford looked to be a victim of being left behind in Rangers plans this season.  Logic dictated that given his age, he needed to find a new home in order to prove his worth.

Morton announced on Saturday that they have secured Crawford’s services on a four-month loan deal.

Crawford made ten starts & 14 appearances off the bench in 2013-14 – scoring two goals.  However, Crawford has not seen any playing time so far in the new season & has only been listed in the first team squad once.

Known for his work-rate, fitness, & versatility – Crawford will look to contribute to a Morton side who are currently in fourth place of the Scottish League One table.  They have two wins & two losses so far on the season.

  1. The lad needs a run of games in his right position. i think he has to work on a few areas of his game first of all. will be intresting to see how he develops of the next few months. i have never really taken to Crawford but maybe this loan chance is what he needs.
