A representative from the Vancouver Whitecaps confirmed to Rangers Report that the Canadian trio, reported by The Daily Express, to be on trial with Rangers are simply there to maintain offseason fitness levels.

Sam Adekugbe, Christian Dean, & Kianz Froese are with Rangers for a training stint to keep sharp in the offseason and receive additional experience abroad.  We also had three young players go train with Derby County.

All of our young players will be returning to Vancouver.  Kianz & the three players at Derby will first be meeting up with our U18 squad for a USSDA showcase event in Florida.
