The “father” figure-aka The Board/Owners
The “partner/mother”-aka The Supporters
The “kids”-aka The Team Players, Coaches and Backroom Staff
The Dysfunction:- Since the “new” father-figure arrived in the “family home”, (Ibrox), a systematic victimization has been inflicted on the “partner” and the “kids”, secreting millions of much-needed funds away and leaving the partnership in serious financial jeopardy.
This has been directed cleverly and deviously, as is seen in all stereotypical victimizing cases, to make the “victimizer” seem like the “good guy” to friends, neighbours and anyone who happens to be looking on…
So…it will look as though this “good guy” is, for example, PROVIDING FOR the family………..(the Easdales -“I’ve put £500k of my own money into this” TOUGH, SON…we, the support have put MILLIONS in!
That he is MISUNDERSTOOD…..That it’s really THE PARTNER ….or THE KIDS……who are to blame….!, “True, loyal fans would come and support the team”???
The VICTIMIZER here, the Board at Rangers, sometimes uses “spin” through sometimes unwitting journalists, sometimes through their appointed spokesmen, like Jack Irvine and glib spokesmen like Mr. Somers: sometimes using SILENCE to patronise outspoken “family members” such as the Union of Fans, making it look as though they are focussing on an “imaginary” abuse!

These are all very typical of victimizers from every walk of life….
DIVIDE the “family” so that there will be confusion and the “family” will be at each other’s throats, allowing the victimizer to continue to erode the safety and security and, indeed the happiness and the very existence of the “family”.
HOW DO THE INNOCENT FAMILY MEMBERS GET THEIR LIVES AND INTERESTS BACK UNDER THEIR CONTROL?
BY TAKING AWAY WHATEVER IT IS THAT THE VICTIMIZER THRIVES ON
NAMELY, THE MONEY AND POWER THEY CURRENTLY TAKE FOR GRANTED
GETTING THEM OUT OF THE FAMILY HOME MAY BE PAINFUL, BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE
THE FAMILY WITH RANGERS BLOOD IN THEIR VEINS MUST STICK TOGETHER AND ACT IN UNISON
What is most important right now is to realise that issues regarding the team’s performance or the manager’s status at present, are and will remain, SIDE ISSUES, which the so-called “father-figure” i.e. the board need to address, NOT the support.
The team really are no more than the “kids”, who (no matter how well-paid), need to be protected and directed…the REAL activists, with the responsibility to confront the victimizing partner, is US…the support….WE are the ones who grew this club, who contributed at least 50% of the cost of every brick in every stadium in this country, along with the travelling support of the Celtic FC,and it is up to US to focus, not on side issues, but on the MAIN issue: getting rid of an victimizing, self-serving, non-RANGERS board.
Well said. Couldnt agree more with your article

30 year season ticket holder with my son and son-in- law. Did not renew this season due to existing board and what we were getting on the pitch. The only way to get our club back is to starve this lot out. We did not listen to the Sheffield fans about Green and now the Newcastle fans are warning us on Mr Ashley. No more please this is the fans club we must all act together to rid ourself of all these money grabbers.

Respect to you. You obviously care enough about your team to take some action. There are a growing number of fans who have made sacrifices to safeguard the future of the club. An army of us roaming around on a game day. But, be assured – we will return!!

I agree entirely and also will never understand why the SFA took so long to enter the fray would also like all the different supporters groups to join as one and collate all the shares to try and rid the club of the board

agreed. the future of the club lies with a united and organised fan initiative.
Rangers fans are once again being ignored and humiliated by the current usurper. The Pandora’s Box that is currently the Ibrox boardroom seems to release an almost daily nasty.
Ashley cowers in the background while Llambias continues to hack his way through the club with utter contempt for the fans. Is this reliable, trustworthy guardianship of our club?
Come on Mike, manners, this is no way to treat people! Bit more of the organ grinder, bit less of the monkey.
